Prospects Baseball

Can’t get enough baseball? Have that competitive drive? Want to develop more skills? It’s that time of year when we want to build our prospect teams for 2016!
 
Our prospect teams allow players with a more competitive drive the chance to practice together Friday nights. They spend time working on skills and strategies to help them compete at the tournament ball level.

Age Levels – U9, 9-10, 11-12
When – Friday nights at 6pm from April 22nd to Jun 10th
Where – Centennial Park
Cost – $30 per player
Commitment – as much as you can
Deadline to apply – Tuesday April 19th

Numbers – spaces on the teams may be limited
 
If you are interested in playing or managing/coaching/coordinating one of our prospect teams please email president@cslittleleague.com for more information or to apply.
 
NOTE – this is different than tournament baseball. You do not need to play Prospects to play on the Tournament team. This program is designated to allow more advanced skill building to ready players for a higher level of baseball. Commitment is expected but attendance to every session is not mandatory.

 

Picture Day

It’s picture time!! Bring your smile and clean uniform 🙂

Picture day is set for Sunday May 1st. We will meet outside the 3rd baseline on D5 at Centennial Park. Please arrive 10 minutes early to your time slot so we can have everyone ready to go. Team and individual pictures will be taken this day.

Games2U has giant Hamster Balls, U-Launchers and a video trailer!

Come see the mascots including Harvey the Harbour Cat, Cooper the Dog and Sparky!

 

50/50 tickets will be for sale

 

CONCESSION WILL BE OPEN!

10:00AM until the last game ends – Grill open at 11:00AM

 

CSLL clothing & merchandise will be for sale (cash or cheque accepted)

Free Gear Swap – Bring any old unused gloves, shoes, etc. to swap – table by concession

Parent/Coach/Manager Meeting

We at CSLL want to create an environment where both players, parents and coaches all have the opportunity to have fun and learn about baseball. We have initiated a support program for all of our managers/coaches and parents to accomplish 3 main goals. Those goals include:
 
– create a fast paced and fun teaching environment so everyone is engaged and wants to come again!
– advise everyone of the few basic skills we want to develop in each division
– provide the equipment/teaching materials and support to enable everyone to feel confident in teaching
 
This meeting is not mandatory but it comes HIGHLY recommended by the board. Whether one is new to coaching or a seasoned veteran everyone can open their minds to learn what we as a community want to teach our kids. Thanks for being a part of our amazing organization!
 
Please register by contacting president@cslittleleague.com Blastball and Tball start at 630pm. Wednesday March 23rd. Mini’s and Rookie’s start at 730pm in the clubhouse.

Update – our last venue for registration is Feb 4th 630-830pm. Wait lists will be created after this. Please register now!!

 

Jan 23, 24, 30 and 31 from 1-4pm plus two night times Jan 21 and Feb 4 from 630-830pm.

Forms will be available at the clubhouse or you can save time by fill out the registration form and parent sport code of conduct before (click on the Registration tab above). Please bring your cheque book. If registering a first time player you will also need the following :

  • players birth certificate – so we can verify age
  • utility bill showing address – so we can verify catchment area
