These assessments are required by Central Saanich Little League to ensure a balanced player distribution during the draft of the teams.  Our coaches will be looking at each players ability, skill and knowledge of the game.

A note to Majors players and parents, during the draft, players will be chosen for their skill level and ability before age.  The eligible age for Majors is 9-12 years old, as of April 30th 2013, (12yrs old must play Majors.)

Players will be notified of the team selections by March 31st.

CSLL REGISTRATION 

Applications will still be accepted until the end of March 2013 (however we will not be able to guarantee teams, friends or Coaches).

The newest division of play for regular season and the International Tournament is the Little League Intermediate (50/70) Baseball Division, featuring a pitching distance of 50 feet, and base paths of 70 feet. The new division provides a smoother transition from the smaller field to a standard baseball diamond, along with a venue for players ages 11-13 with more advanced skills. The Intermediate League will culminate each year of play with the Intermediate League Baseball World Series. I thought I would update everyone on the amazing tournament we are hosting.  Thank-you to all our volunteers who worked so hard to get our park ready  – it looks great!  Thanks to everyone who has been out to watch the games and a special thank you to our many concession volunteers.

Congratulations to Beacon Hill who defeated Layritz in the final game 12-5 to win the District 7 Championship 2012.  They will move on to the Provincials held in Trail BC.

July 9/12 – The Central Saanich “Comeback Kids” played tonight coming back from a 4-1 deficit – scoring 4 runs in the 5th inning. Lake/Hill National tied the game in the bottom of the 5th inning, score now 5-5. Central Saanich pulls ahead with a run in the sixth inning. Final score 6-5 for Central Saanich – Runs score by Spencer Robbins (2) Dawson Evans (2) Will Podmoroff (1) and Derek Bonder (1).

Other results Beacon Hill over Hampton with a score of 9-6.

 July 8th – Well a great start to our tournament with an exciting first game going into extra innings!  Hampton beat Lake Hill/National 5-3 in the eighth inning.  The second game resulting in a Grand Slam by #24 Luke Seginowich from Layritz to bring the Final score 8-5 over Beacon Hill.
