District 7 Umpire Clinic:
When: Sunday March 25, 2012
9:00 AM to 4:00PM
Check in time is 8:30 am.
Location: Layritz Little League
Bring a glove.
Bring a lunch and something to drink.
(Make sure you have lots to drink – water or juice)
Please let your league Umpire in Chief know if you will be attending.
Most instructors have attended an Umpire school.
Training includes base mechanics, Plate mechanics, & Rules.

Spring Training Dates Set
The dates for spring training have been set! This year we will be holding sessions indoor at the Panorama Tennis Courts. This is an opportunity for players from all ages to come out and spend some time warming those baseball muscles up. Skills will be taught and refined so that all players can have a more enjoyable experience playing ball.
We will also be having a signup sheet for those interested in coaching, assistant coaching, or managing a team. We can’t play ball without you volunteers! Come out and lend a hand at the training sessions.

2012 Rule Changes
Little League International today announced the full list of significant changes that will go into effect on Jan. 1, 2012, to the policies, rules and regulations of the program.
In order to give timely information to parents and leagues, some of the changes were announced several weeks ago. One change, in the bat regulations, has been further updated since the first announcement. The update clarifies the penalty for using an illegal bat.
