Thanks to the Harbour Cats for making time to visit with some of our Little League players. They were great hosts as always.
District Tournament Teams
District tournaments are on now!
Your 9-10 Tournament Team has placed 2nd in the round robin at Districts! It’s been years since this has happened and it goes to show our development model is working.
They went 3-1 along with Layritz and Beacon Hill. The tie-breaker procedure put them in 2nd place. Way to go boys! We are proud of how you’ve learned to play the game.
Come cheer them on as they try to beat defending champions Beacon Hill again to gain entry into the final. Game time is Thursday at 3pm at Hampton Park.
Our 11-12 team will begin this Saturday and the combined District 7 Intermediate team takes part in provincials starting this Friday also.

City Minors Championship
What a great week of baseball at the D7 City Minors Championship held at Centennial Park. Even a little rain couldn’t stop some amazing and fun baseball. Congratulations to all the teams who competed. The city minors champions for 2016 are from Layritz. Below is a post championship game picture with both teams and their medals.

Closing Ceremonies
Closing ceremonies is coming fast! We hope you can join us for the day as we celebrate our year of baseball. We will have fun ball games followed by an afternoon of water slides, bouncy castles, a huge blow up obstacle course and a dunk tank! Come and enjoy your park and your community!
We are also hosting the city minors playoffs which start in the afternoon. Stay and watch your CSLL minor champions take on other district champions! It is sure to be some great baseball!

Mariners Pitching Coach Randy Holt
A HUGE thank-you to Victoria Mariners pitching coach Randy Holt for stopping by last night. He spent over 2 hours of his own time to teach 9 coaches and over 20 players to help improve their pitching skills. He answered every question our coaches asked. He even did a on on one mock bull pen with almost every single player.
Coaches and kids had an amazing time learning skills and having fun. Thanks to the Victoria Mariners for continuing to support our Little League program!
