Hello baseball families!
We want to update you on the 2020 baseball season at Central Saanich Little League.
Your board of directors continue to meet (virtually) to discuss our options. We have been in discussions with all of the Little Leagues in BC through our own Victoria District 7 meetings and the Little League BC provincial meetings. Every league is hoping to provide a regular baseball season this summer. Last night, the decision was made by your board to continue to postpone the regular season until:
A – we are given the ok by local health authorities
and
B – a start date no later than July 6th giving us an 8 week season running until August 30th.
This means we should know by July 1st if our season is a go or not.
Thank you for your patience as we all work through the COVID-19 pandemic. We truly hope that we can start to gather as a community in a safe manner soon.
